Dilapidated streets and roads in federal rural areas are creating inconvenience and problems for residents while authorities concerned playing the role of a silent spectator. As survey conducted by Online revealed that streets and roads in federal rural areas are creating problems for residents.
Though the local government had rebuilt broken roads but due to use of sub-standard material they were broken once gain. The poor sanitation system is aggravating problems because roads remain inundated. Prices of bouquet increase during Eid: The flower shops at various markets in Capital were selling bouquets and flowers at exorbitant prices during Eid days.
The prices of flowers were increased as a large number of people purchased flowers and rose petals to greet people on Eid.
It is also a tradition that people also lay floral wreaths at the graves of their dead loved ones which hiked the demand of flowers.
Sale of adulterated milk goes unchecked in capital: The sale of adulterated milk goes on unchecked in different areas of federal capital and it is taking toll on the health of the consumers. Milkmen are selling sub-standard and adulterated milk in the city.
Experts say adulterated milk causes TB, typhoid, cancer and other diseases among the consumers especially the children.
The residents decry the sale of adulterated milk and call government’s attention. They say there is no check on milk sellers.
They say milkmen mix contaminated water in milk putting consumers to risk.
The residents have demanded the Health Department should take action to stop sale of tainted milk as soon as possible.
