PT employee’s house robbed, police refuse to file case

Despite the passage of three days, the Gulistan-e-Jauhar police have not filed the case of a Pakistan Today employee, whose house was robbed on August 30 and he was brutally attacked by the robbers.
According to the details, three armed men – Junaid, Ahmed Iqbal and an unidentified man, belonging to a political party, barged into the house of Zahid Hussain, a Pakistan Today technician and a resident of Bhittaiabad area, at the time of iftar.
The robbers deprived the family of five tolas of gold, Rs 52,000 in cash and two mobile phones and brutally beat up Zahid and his younger brother Ahmed on resistance. The robbers managed to escape after brutally wounding them. 
Zahid approached the Gulistan-e-Jauhar police but they refused to file his case.
Even after the passage of three days and many visits to the police station, the police have neither registered a case, nor arrested the nominated men, who are notorious criminals of the area.
