It’s a rainy weekend

Around 11 millimetres of rain inthe city turned the weather pleasant on Saturday.
Scattered rain with thundershowers also hit the upper and lower parts of the country. The Met Office predicted more widespread rain and thundershowers with isolated heavy falls in Sindh, South Punjab and East Balochistan while isolated rain and thundershowers were expected in upper parts of the country today (Sunday).
The Met Office also warned that heavy rainfall might cause urban or flash flooding in Sindh and South Punjab. Around 52 millimetres of rain was recorded in Nawabshah, 35 millimetres in Sahiwal, 26 millimetres in Parachinar, 19 millimetres in Lasbella, 13 millimetres in Pattan and 10 millimetres rain was recorded in Okara on Saturday. Around 38 degrees Celsius was the maximum temperature recorded in Lahore on Saturday but the rain made the weather pleasant. Around 81 percent humidity was recorded in Lahore on Saturday morning, which dropped to 70 percent in the evening.
