Breaking the momentum of lower number of cases being reported in the city, the dengue count again skyrocketed on Saturday, as 76 more cases were reported.
For the last few days, an average of 30 cases was being reported per day but Saturday’s numbers have put a question mark on the Punjab government’s seriousness in controlling the epidemic. According to sources, hundreds of dengue cases have gone unreported over the last few days and the original number was much higher.
