The month of Ramzan is a blessing from God. This month is meant for spiritual cleanliness of Muslim. This month also requires that Muslims spend more time in pious activities and refrain from sins by asking forgiveness for the sins that have been committed by them. It is also the time of the year when zakat is paid by Muslims as it is 70 times more virtuous to pay zakat during this month.
Some Muslims perform the recitation of the entire Quran by means of special prayers, called Tarawih. Iftar parties are also arranged by many people, giving people a chance to socialise.
The festival of Eid is one such event whose preparations are made during this month. Even though Ramzan has now ended, the practice of noble deeds must not stop. The feeling of sympathy and brotherhood should be promoted throughout the year. People should engage in charity and goodness with the same enthusiam that they did while in the blessed month.
