Zardari offers Eid prayers in Urumqi

President Asif Ali Zardari offered Eid prayers here in the capital of China’s Xinjiang province on Wednesday, where he reached Tuesday on a three-day visit to participate in the first China-Eurasia Expo being held from September 1 to 5.
The president offered the Eid prayers along with the members of his delegation including Ministers for Defence, Commerce, Petroleum and Natural Resources, the prime minister of AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan chief minister and others as well as the Pakistan Embassy officials.
The Imam (prayer leader) presented Eid sermon and explained the special bounties and blessing of Allah Almighty for faithful during the holy month of Ramadan.
On this occasion, special prayers were made for the unity and well-being of Muslim Ummah as well as for inter-faith harmony and peace in the world.
After the Eid prayers, the president exchanged greetings with the delegation members, officers and staff of the Pakistan Embassy.

  1. Very wise decision specially after the crisis that rose recently between the two nations
    on the issue of Uighar nationalists operating to and fro Pakistan. Zardari can play a positive role with the local leadership and bring reconciliation between the Hans and the Uighars.

  2. Will PAkistan demand Chinese to stop killing Uighurs and stop destroying Uighur culture???? or will just keep eating the commission of the blood of poor Uighur's???
