Former Balochistan People’s Party (BPP) president Senator Lashkari Raisani has joined Dr Zulfikar Mirza’s chorus, saying Interior Minister Rehman Malik was an agent of anti-state forces and was working on foreign agenda. In an interview on Tuesday, Raisani said Mirza’s statement regarding Malik was based on facts and he would extend complete support to him for the rightful purpose. He said being a Muslim, one could not lie after placing the holy Quran on his head and Mirza’s statements were crystal-clear and not mere allegations. The PPP leader said Zulfikar Ali Bhutto sacrificed his life for the truth and many other party leaders were ready to stand by Zulfiqar Mirza for the sake of the party and national interest. Raisani said the nation, the government and the media should listen to what Mirza’s had said because it was not matter of his personal and party interest. He alleged that Malik was directly involved in the Balochistan mayhem.
