Zulfiqar Mirza has lifted the lid off the crimes and the incompetence of the federal and the Sindh governments and revealed that the MQM was involved in the Karachi killings, Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaqat Baloch said on Monday.
Addressing a gathering on Sunday, Baloch said MQM chief Altaf Husain, President Asif Zardari and Interior Minister Rehman Malik were equally involved in the crimes. Calling the three an anti-Pakistan and anti-Sindh trio, the JI leader said peace was impossible in Karachi in the presence of these three. Baloch demanded a debate in the joint session of parliament.
