Three people died in three different incidents on Monday. In the first incident, a 35-year-old man was murdered in the Nishtar Colony Police precincts. Yaseen, a father of 9 and husband of two wives was shot dead. He had a fight with his wife and was on his way to his other wife’s house when unidentified men shot him. The body was noticed by passers-by who reported the murder to the police. The police registered a case and handed over the body to the family after autopsy.
In the second incident, a man was found dead in the Lower Mall Police precincts. Police officials said that the 50-year-old man died of a drug overdose near Angori Bagh. They said that the residents of the area spotted the body and informed the police. In the third incident, a woman was shot dead in the name of honour in the Bhagbanpura Police precincts. Eighteen-year-old Asma was shot dead by her father Ishtiaq after he suspected her of having illicit relations with a man. Police said that a first information report had been lodged on Asma’s uncle’s complaint under section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
