  1. As per Almanac the moon and sun were setting at nearly the same time in nearly all over the SA. The sighting was not possible at any location in SA. Is no Government Agency in SA capable of referring to Nautical Tables which are so widely available on web? God help Saudi authorities. So many countries will follow their wrong suit.

  10. Forget calculations, they dont understand it themselves. Many independent sightings not just from authorities.

  11. The moon was born on Sunday morning. It was 15 hours old by Monday evening when the entire world was looking for a sighting. What do the authorities in Pakistan do? They decide to look for it on Tuesday! More fitna from politicians subserviant to the West.

Brother get your facts right! If it was born 'Sunday morning' then by Monday evening its age must be around the 40 hour mark! Should clearly be visible in major parts of the world. This actually occured on the Tuesday, as the moon was born on the Monday morning – around the time of Fajr give or take a few hours depending on where you are in the Europe and Africa regions! In Asia it will have occured after Ishraq, and in the Americas, before Isha the previous day! In the far east its close to midday.
So if we assume that the new moon was born around Fajr time in North Africa region, then by Maghrib time that same day, it can not age significantly to be visible anywhere in the same region. The further east you go, the chances are worse.
However, if you head west, then even then, despite the moon having aged that much more, it would only be visible in the extreme west countries, such as Chile, or perhaps the western coast of the US, ie California. Beyond that is the international dateline, bringing you to Tuesday!
So I applaud the Ulema of Pakistan who reject false sightings – don't forget, Pakistan started fasting on the Tuesday, and it is only right to look for the moon on the same day you started fasting – Tuesday to Tuesday makes 29 days, why don't you work it out!
      May Allah guide us all.
