Mirza resigns from cabinet, party posts

Sindh senior minister and PPP leader Dr Zulfiqar Mirza has resigned from party office, minister-ship and Sindh Assembly seat against the target killings, extortion and internal party policies.
Addressing an emotional press conference, he made the announcement. After recalling his personal affiliation with the Bhutto family and Asif Ali Zardari, placing hand on the holy Quran, Mirza said Rehman Malik is in connivance with killers. He claimed he had proofs to support his claim, and intended to hand over the evidence to COAS Gen Kayani, President Zardari and PM Gilani.
Mirza recalled one of the MQM leaders had said about him that a pimp would be acting as flamboyant as Mirza in the company of so many policemen.
The ex-home minister said “now I have resigned as minister. I came here in official vehicle. Now I will go back in my private car. I will only keep the PPP flag. Now all such people see I, Mirza, is still as flamboyant”.

  1. Following this gentleman’s remarks over the past few months, it appears he has some a great amount of pent up hate inside of him.

    Disparaging remarks about another ethnic group only brings violence and greater division. This has been witnessed in Bosnia and Rwanda, where it starts off as ascribing remarks and hate speech but quickly turns into fallout ethnic cleansing. People always assume it can never happen in their country until it starts to take a life of its own.

    It’s important that wiser heads prevail and put this kind of speech to hate speech and be dealt with forthright.

  2. I must give him his due credit for what he has said. At least there was someone in this supine government who stood up courageously to take on someone from whose many would soak their underpants. He has not minced his words as it has become a fashion in the media. He should be supported for his truthfulness under the oath of Holy Quran.
    Altaf must be exposed for what he is doing. Asif Zardari is playing with fire in continuing his stupid policy of 'reconciliation'.

  3. Every Pakistani who love this country and loyal with it, is agreed with Zulifqar Mirza. I thought he is a mad man, but today by listening his press conference with proves, i think he is the most loyal person with the people of Karachi and Pakistan. He is very genuine, straight forward and out spoken person. What he did today, no one else can do:
    I think this is the time to clean karachi and open it for all political parties.

  4. Zulfiqar mirza has no credibility as a human being and as a politician. He lied under oath by accusing MQM of killing Dr. imran Farooq because Scotland yard still trying to solve this murder mystery. Everyone knows about Zulfiqar Mirza's personal character or morals.t he is a badmash. Elections are here and Zardari and Zulfiqar Mirza are playing games. He is a racist and he showed it on a national TV a few days back.
    For His party cause and his Sindhi race cause, he can go to any extent.

  5. Zulfiqar Mirza was the one who created this miserable situation in Karachi and he is responsible for the murder fo 1400 innocent urdu speaking individuals in last 4 months. He is the one who hired 5000 policemen from Interior Sindh and stationed then in Karachi after 2200 policemen including 8 high ranking police officers to interior Sindh so they can watch the massacre of the people of Karachi and do nothing to protect them.
    Agencies are also involved in these conspiracies again. Haters of MQM are everywhere. Everything is happening for a reason that they want to break in to MQM vote bank so MQM will not be a deciding factor in choosing prime minister and forming a government of the future. Also, to gain more seats from Karachi, they will continue to do it again and again.

  6. As far as target killers go, DANDA does its wonders. Danda can make you a traget killer over night and get a written statement or video cy onfession within hours.
    If they were target killers and killed 300 innocent people of other races then who killed 1400 – 1500 innocent individuals of urdu speaking population? and where are those target killers?
