Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan has said Karachi was returning to life due to strategies adopted by the government and security forces targeted search operations in different parts of the city.
Talking to media persons during his visit to Tariq Road to observe the security situation in the city and to get the view point of the citizens here on Sunday, Manzoor Wasan said that law and order situation in Karachi and target killing have been issues of serious concern and entire attention of the government remained directed at them during the last one months.
He also said that ban over pillion riding was imposed aimed at stopping the target killing and prevent violence. He said the ban was likely to be lifted by Monday.
Manzoor Wasan said that law and order has improved since rangers and police rendered extra services.
The Sindh Home Minister said that though it was the responsibility of the provincial government and law enforcement agencies to ensure security to public lives and property but it was not possible for police and rangers to
maintain law and order situation without cooperation of masses.
