Encroachments on the footpath adjacent to Murree Road are causing inconvenience for the citizens and are causing accidents, while the Anti-Encroachment Department is playing the role of a silent spectator. The road from Liaqat Bagh Chowk to Chandni Chowk has been encroached by stallholders.
The shopkeepers have displayed furniture, electronic motor and cycles on the footpath. The residents complained that Tehsil Municipal Administration and Rawal Town was not taking action against the encroachers. The residents have demanded of the authorities to take action against the encroachers.
