The dengue express lost some of its speed on Sunday, as 33 more cases were reported in Punjab with all of them in Lahore.
Around 28 patients were diagnosed in Shaukat Khanum Hospital, three in Ghurki Hospital and two were reported in Shalimar Hospital. Since January, 1,100 patients have tested positive in the province, out of which 907 were reported in Lahore alone. According to the health department, 850 patients have recovered. According to medical experts, rains in coming days might again deteriorate the situation and special care should be taken in this regard.
