Police have arrested fifteen criminals from various parts of Rawalpindi and seized liquor from their possession during a crackdown against peddlers the other day.
The move came as the crime rate in the city is rising alarmingly. The seized items include 837 grams of hashish, 1,170 bottles of liquor and five pistols. Meanwhile, police recovered 150 bottles of wine from a notorious peddler, Abdul Ghaffar. Cases have been registered against the accused.
