An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the wee hours of Saturday. However, no loss of life or property was reported.
According to Met office, the quake rocked Peshawar, Mardan, Chitral, Lower Dir, Haripur, Abbottabad and Tarbela. The tremor also rocked Rawalpindi and adjoining areas.
People came out from their homes in fear while reciting Kalima-e-Tayeba.
