The Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) announced the addition of another full time development officer to the team staff on Friday. President Fawzi Khwaja said: “the addition has been made keeping in view that the growth and interest of rugby in Pakistan and the amount of activity has made the union feel that there was a need to add a dedicated development officer in the coaching staff.”
Shakeel Ahmed will be joining the rugby development team later this month. Shakeel is the IRB level I qualified coach and has also attended the Level II course and in the process of completing the requirements of the Level II. He is a certified rugby official and also has the laws of the game certificate 2011.
