Deputy Inspector General (Operations) of Punjab Police Ghulam Mehmood Dogar has revealed late Friday night that the law enforcing agencies had found the clue to abductors of Shahbaz Taseer, son of the late Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer, a private TV channel reported.
Earlier, the police registered a case of abduction of Shahbaz Taseer against unidentified culprits, the channel reported. The case had been registered in the Gulberg Police Station on the complaint of Ayesha Tami Haq, maternal aunt of Shahbaz Taseer. The case number 1,036 had been lodged against some unidentified culprits under the PPO 365.
