A widow woman, along with her son, was kidnapped over the dispute between two communities over a marriage issue, police said.
The dispute reached its peak when Waqas Sheikh and Tooba Malah got married in a court.
As a result, relatives of a bridegroom, Zainab Sheikh and her son were kidnapped.
Police have not recovered the kidnapped persons so far.
People of Mithiani staged a protest and demanded quick recovery of kidnapped persons and asked for security to all including those who want to marry according to their will.
