The video recording of events occurring few seconds prior to abduction of Shahbaz Taseer has been recovered.
The incident occurred between the homes of Punjab Assembly’s Samina Khawar and assistant commissioner Model Town.
Video footage indicates that the car of Shahbaz Taseer turned into Ameer uddin Road at after which the car following him turned its direction to another road; while a citizen was observed running away from the street end.
A private TV Channel reported that Statements of wife of Shahbaz Taseer and two of his Elite force guards Liaqat and Fakhar Nazeer have also been recorded in this respect.
