The police on Thursday arrested four people including a woman for their alleged involvement in theft and drug peddling cases and recovered 1.5 kilogramme heroin, one 30 bore pistol and looted items from their possession. Sub-Inspector Aashiq Muhammad from Tarnol Police nabbed female drug pusher Yasmeen and recovered heroin from her, a police spokesman said.
Sabzi Mandi Police Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) Muhammad Ishaq nabbed Muhammad Gul for possession of a 30 bore pistol and five rounds. Sihala Police ASI Akhtar Zaman and Constable Abdul Raheem nabbed a dacoit Akbar Ali while Kohsar Police ASI Ali Raza arrested a thief Arshad Mehmud and looted items were recovered from their possession. Cases have been registered against those arrested and further investigation is underway.
