A 60-year-old man was found dead on Thursday from a hotel in Naulakha Police precincts.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Aslam, a resident of Kasur.
Police said Aslam had checked in the hotel on Wednesday and died in his room on early Thursday morning. Police moved the body to a city morgue.
SHO Naulakha Atif Miraj said Aslam appeared to have died of natural causes. He said they would contact his family for further investigation.
GANG BUSTED: Shahdarah Police claimed to have arrested three members of an inter-district gang and recovered looted valuables from their possession on Thursday.
Police said they raided the hideout of the criminals on a tip-off and arrested the ring leader of the gang named Ramzan alias Mitho and his three accomplices named Shahbaz alias Black, Irfan alias Kaka and Asif alias Kalu. Police also seized four stolen motorcycles, jewellery, mobile phones and illegal weapons. During the interrogation, the accused confessed to committing 38 crimes in the different parts of the city.
