Dengue continued its rampage on Thursday as 82 more cases were reported in the province. Around 76 cases tested positive in Lahore while six others were reported in Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Raheem Yar Khan. According to the Punjab Health Department spokesperson, 22 cases were reported in the Institute of Public Health (IPH) and Sheikh Zayed Hospital each while 13 patients were diagnosed in Fauji Foundation Hospital.
Other patients tested positive in General Hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Children Hospital and Mayo Hospital. After Thursday’s count, the total number of patients this year reached 844. Out of the total, 760 patients were diagnosed in private and public health establishments of Lahore.
