As many as 14 matches were decided on the opening day of the first PTF Ramadan Floodlights Open Junior Tennis Championship at PTF Tennis Complex under the auspices of PTF. The matches of Boys U-18 and Boys U-16 Singles were decided. The final of the championship will be played on August 26 at same venue. Former national champion and Davis Cup player Zulfiqar Rahim is the tournament director while Shahzad Akhtar Alvi is acting as tournament referee. As many as 48 players from twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad are participating in the championship.
