Man slaughters wife over domestic clash

A man slaughtered his 26-years-old wife to death over domestic issues in the Kahna Police precincts on Wednesday.
Deceased Najma Bibi, resident of Roda Bhoga village, Kahna had an argument with her husband Tariq Maseeh over some domestic matter upon which Tariq slaughtered her with a sharp edged weapon. The police arrested Tariq Maseeh and recovered murdering weapon from his possession after registering a case against him on the complaint of Najma’s brother Raffique Maseeh.
Raffique said Najma and Tariq had a casual clash on Tuesday night which grew serious and resultantly Tariq killed Najma. He said Tariq, after killing Najma, went to his parents’ house along with his two kids and told them about the murder. Tariq’s parents reprimanded him and later handed him over to the police.
MURDER: Ahmad Din, resident of Dil Jaty Village, Adda Plot, was gunned down by his relatives in the Raiwind Police precincts on Wednesday. According to police, the victim had married his daughter to Aslam a few years back. However, his daughter often complained that her husband tortured her over minor issues. Two days ago, the victim went to his daughter’s house to resolve the matter.
He exchanged harsh words with his son-in-law Aslam upon which enraged Aslam, on Wednesday morning attacked Ahmad at his house. As a result, Ahmad received serious bullet injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died. Police registered a case against ten accused man including Aslam, Ismail and Irfan on victim’s son Sohail’s complaint.
ROBBERS KILL TWO: Robbers shot dead two men on resisting robbery bids in two different areas of the city on Wednesday.
German returned Imran, 31, was stopped by three robbers in the Sanda Police precincts as he was returning home after collecting sales from his shops. The robbers tried to snatch cash from Imran upon which he resisted and was resultantly shot dead. The robbers managed to flee with Imran’s cash and mobile phone.
Locals immediately informed police but the officials reached the site two hours later. The locals and heirs of Imran blocked Sanda Road for about an hour to protest against police’s irresponsible attitude. Similarly, Khan Bahadur, 21, was shot dead by robbers upon resisting a robbery bid in the Nawab Town Police precincts on Wednesday. The victim, resident of Sheikhupura, was working in Al-Noor Superstore when five robbers barged into the store, held the employees hostage and demanded cash.
As Bahadur resisted the robbery, one of the robbers opened fire on him. The victim sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died. Police reached the site and moved the body to city morgue for autopsy.
FIRE: Valuables worth thousands of rupees were reduced to ashes when fire broke out in three different areas of the provincial capital on Wednesday. In the first incident, a fire broke out in a plastic factory near Pindi Stop in the Green Town Police precincts and burnt down plastic items and other valuables worth thousands of rupees. Another fire broke out in a factory near Pecco Road, Kot Lakhpat Police precincts because of short-circuiting and caused minor loss.
Yet in another incident, some unidentified persons set ablaze Fallah-e-Insaniat Foundation’s relief camp in the Mughalpura area. Fire-fighters reached the site and extinguished fire. No injury was reported in any of the incidents.
INJURED: Nawaz, 28, received serious bullet injuries after being shot by unidentified men in the Tibi-City Police precincts on Wednesday. The victim was standing near Taxali Chowk when two unidentified men opened fire on him and fled. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was stated to be critical.
