A number of alleged miscreants have been taken under arrest during a joint operation carried out by police and Rangers’ personnel in different parts of the troubled localities of Karachi, namely Orangi Town, Kati Pahari and Qasba Colony, police said.
Moreover, the security agencies claimed recovery of heavy cache of illegal arms and ammunitions from the possession of arrested criminals in the operation supervised by the inspector general Sindh police and other high-level security officers.
Another five persons were nabbed during a separate search operation in areas of Lyari locality after Tuesday midnight.
The arrested have been moved to unidentified locations for investigations.
