Rangers start operation in Karachi

Pakistan Rangers has commenced operation in Karachi against target killers and culprits. On first day of the operation, some 14 anti social elements were arrested and heavy quantity of arms and narcotics was recovered from them.
The spokesman of Rangers Brigadier Waseem Ayub told journalists during a briefing that the Rangers recovered 79 arms and chemical used for making explosive.
He said that 50 kg charas, 20 kg heroin and 1,000 bottles of liquor besides several drums containing 20 kg of chemical used in heroin making was also recovered from the custody of arrested men.
During operation three vehicles and one motorbike was also taken into custody but no one contacted rangers claiming the ownership of these vehicles.
“We have full realisation of the people’s expectations and to fulfill them, we are utilising our intelligence network in befitting manner”, Brig added.
