No need of army in Karachi: Zulfiqar Mirza

Sindh Senior Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza said on Tuesday there was no need of the army in Karachi, but it could be called constitutionally in any emergency situation. Talking to media people on his arrival in the federal capital, Zulfiqar Mirza said there was no need of the army in Karachi, but it could be called in any emergency situation. About Rehman Malik, he said he was talking about solution to Sindh problems. “Rehman Malik is a senior party leader and I respect him a lot,” he said. He also denied exchange of harsh words with him. He said he had come to Islamabad on President Zardari’s call. Defending People’s Aman Committee, Dr Zulfiqar said it existed no more.
