Leaders of Alam-I-Mutahida Ulema Mushaikh Conference (AMUMC) on Tuesday, while expressing grave concern over Israeli atrocities on Palestinians, said Youm-ul-Quds would be observed on the coming Friday to show solidarity with the suffering people of Palestine. They also termed the government’s stance on the Karachi ‘carnage’ as insufficient and held that only the army could alleviate the suffering of the people of Karachi.
Addressing a press conference at Peshawar Press Club, AMUMC Chairman Maulana Muhammad Shoaib, General Secretary Sahibzada Syed Mehmud ul Hassan and Hamdullah said the armed groups of various political parties, including those in the coalition government, were involved in the assassinations.
