A 16-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in the Defence-B Police precincts on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Humaira, a resident of Nishat Colony. Police said that Humaira worked in a private office in N-Block, Defence for the last five months and had an affair with her neighbour who used to visit her at work. On Tuesday, office guards caught her with her boyfriend on which her boss warned her that he would tell her family.
After getting scolded by her boss, she got depressed and ended her life by hanging herself with a dupatta.
Separately, an unidentified 40-year-old man died when a train crushed him in the Naulakha Police precincts. Police said that the man was crossing a railway line when he was hit by a train, resulting in his instant death.
Also on Tuesday, an unidentified 40-year-old man was found dead from the Kot Lakhpat Police precincts. The deceased was lying near the Cantt Station when vendors spotted him and informed police which suspected that the man was a drug addict and died of an overdose.
Humaira did not do sucide. it a clearly murder. a girl a who look after her family, how she can a risk of a sucide.
she can. as she looks a responsible girl who works at very young age and obviously had respect in her heart by as the nature of being a human she sliped someway and fell in love and then she relised that this step will cause an insult for her parents when she will tel to her parents. so she did this in the pressure of her boss. her boss should make her understand between right and wrong politelt rather than by pressurised he. this is the kind of violence of men against women. may Allah forgive her . ameeeeeeeen
