Utility stores cut oil price by Rs 3 per kilogramme

For convenience of its customers, the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) on Monday decided to reduce edible ghee and oil prices by Rs 3 per kilogrammes at all utility stores bringing prices down to Rs 145 per kilogrammes.
The decision was taken at a USC meeting with Senior Federal Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in the chair. USC was also directed to ensure maximum availability of all essential items during the last 10 days of Ramadan for convenience of its customers. The meeting expressed overall satisfaction at results of utility stores’ Ramadan’s initiative of providing essential items at subsidised prices. The officials concerned were also directed to make special arrangements for Eid shopping at utility stores. It was also decided to pay an additional one-month salary to all utility stores employees for their successful Ramadan performance and record sales.

  1. This is great loss to the govt on paying additional one month salary therefore govt is already paying salary if the same amount utilize for an other purpose i think i was better for peoples of pakistan.
