There are no ‘no-go areas’ in Karachi: Rehman Malik


Interior Minister Rehman Malik told reporters after a meeting held with the Acting Director General of Pakistan Rangers Brigadier Zafar Iqbal at the National Disaster Management Cell camp office on Monday there are no “no-go areas” in Karachi.
“A propaganda campaign has been launched against Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan and I,” he added. He expressed his concerns over the anti-government sentiments and the need to de-weaponise the country. He also declared protection of life and property of citizens as the responsibility of the government. “Restoration of peace is the top priority of the government,” he stated.
