JUI-F central leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri has said 3 parties are responsible for deteriorating the situation in Karachi.
“Three parties including, PPP, MQM and ANP are responsible for worsening the situation in Karachi. When they sit together then normalcy comes to Karachi and when differences develop among them then Karachi starts burning”, he said this while talking to media men here Monday in parliament house.
Security agencies have failed to discharge their obligations in Karachi and due to their failure question mark have been raised on the writ and capability of state, he observed.
Replying to a question he said calling in army in Karachi offers no solution to this problem. A political solution will have to be evolved for establishment of lasting peace in Karachi, he proposed. Operation will have to be conducted against criminals and terrorists indiscriminately, he demanded. The political elements who were patronizing these criminals would have to be exposed, he stressed.
Government and police know it well who is subverting situation in Karachi and who is involved in the crimes, he told.
Demand for snap elections by Nawaz Sharif was incomprehensible, he said adding why id he think about it. If he has any objection over the corruption of government or any other issue then he should strengthen opposition inside parliament so that tough time could be given to government, he remarked. All the parties barring PML-N were agreed that government should complete its term, he underlined.
He told his party had not been invited to rejoin government nor would JUI-F rejoin government if it was invited.
Situation will further deteriorate with allowing US to open its consulate in major cities of the country, he underscored.
