Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Sunday constituted a high-powered committee to check unscheduled load shedding and provide relief to the masses. The decision was taken during a meeting of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MNAs from Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions at the Governor’s House. The committee will be headed by Federal Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Sheikh to bring an end to unscheduled load shedding.
