Mirza demands PM ban Malik’s entry in Sindh

Sindh senior Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza has demanded Prime Minister (PM) Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani ban Interior Minister Rehman Malik’s entry in Sindh.
He demanded this during a meeting of Sindh cabinet held here on Monday under the PM. Zulfiqar Mirza and Rehman Malik exchanged hot words during the meeting and the former lashed the latter with a volley of allegations.
The situation was worsening in the city due to Rehman Malik, Mirza said adding that “The criminals whom I had sent to jails in interior Sindh, Rehman Malik has brought them back.”
He said the Peace Committee members had sacrificed their lives in the attack on Benazir Bhutto in Karachi. Law and order was provincial subject and federation should not interfere in it unjustly, he added.
He said further that Rehman Malik should resolve that he would neither come to Karachi up till 15 days nor telephone any one and added that the government would take action against the miscreants.
All including PM sat mute over the statement given by Zulfiqar Mirza while Rehman Malik also listened to the criticism from Zulfiqar Mirza.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik said if my visits to Karachi were disliked, he would go back. The PM said that Rehman Malik came to Karachi under the directives of the president and his directives and his services were known to everyone.
