A 10-year-old boy was run over by a car in Sabzazar police precincts on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Manuel Masih, a resident of Chugya Nagran. He was crossing the Liaqat Chowk when a speeding car hit him and injured him.
The residents of the area rushed him to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police registered a case against the unidentified car driver. A 34-year-old prisoner died at Kot Lakhpat jail on Sunday. He was identified as Faoos, a resident of Faisal Town who belonged to Tanzania. The deceased was arrested by the Sattukatla Police for drug trafficking.
Kot Lakhpat police shifted the body to the city morgue. A 60-year-old man was found dead in Mughalpura police precincts on Sunday. The deceased, who is yet to be identified, was lying dead near Singhpura Fruit Market. Residents of the area spotted the body and informed police.
The police suspected that the man had died of a drug overdose and shifted the body to the city morgue for autopsy.
