Open manholes on the Railway Carriage Factory Road are posing serious threats to the life of people while the authorities concerned are acting as silent spectators despite repeated requests.
People complained that several manholes remained uncovered on busy roads near the Graveyard Bridge, Gangmandi and Dhok Hassu, adding that several bike riders and children were seriously injured after they fell into these holes.
