The Allama Iqbal Open University has awarded MPhil degree in Mass Communication to Shahid Hussain.
The scholar is a faculty member at the Mass Communication Department of the varsity. He conducted his research on the framing role of print media in crisis situations in Pakistan under the supervision of Prof Dr Syed Abdul Siraj.
The title of his thesis was “Portrayal of IDPs from Swat in Leading Pakistani Newspapers: Exploring Nature and Treatment”.
