The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday distributed copies of the Benazir Bhutto murder case among the seven accused.
The hearing of the case was held in the court of ATC Judge Shahid Raffique. The court ordered Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar to write letters to General Headquarters (GHQ) and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) as a reminder for the collection of details regarding the moveable and immoveable assets of former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf. The next hearing of the case would be held on August 27, when the court will probably formally frame charges against the seven accused in the BB assassination case. Former city police officer (CPO) Syed Saud Aziz and Rawal Town SP Khurram Shehzad appeared in court whereas the other five accused, namely Aitzaz Shah, Rafaqar, Hassnain Gull, Abdul Rasheed and Sher Zaman could not be presented in court by the jail authorities due to security reasons.
