7 more killed as death reigns in Karachi

The killing spree in Karachi claimed seven more lives, as the intensity of terrorism lowered to some extent on Sunday as compared to the last four days.
According to police, the first firing took in Chanaiser Goth, an area of Mehmoodabad, where unknown men opened fire, severely injuring three children. Shehryar (10) and Zeeshan (13) succumbed to injuries in the hospital, whereas the third child, Rehman, is under treatment at Jinnah Hospital.
Police added that the suspects were riding a motorbike and fled away after the incident.
In another incident, four unidentified men seated in a car opened indiscriminate fire on rickshaw drivers at a rickshaw stand. As a result, an unknown rickshaw driver was killed and two other suffered severe injuries.
Police started investigations of both the incidents.
In the third incident, a person later identified as Samiullah was shot dead in Gulshan-e-Iqbal near Mosmiat Chorangi. Police has called it the result of an old enmity.
Furthermore, the dead body of a thirty year old man found from Pak Colony near Liyari Nullah. Police said that the dead body had torture marks on it and that the individual was shot dead.
