Probe ordered into allotments in CAA Colony

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) DG Air Marshal (retd) Khalid Chouhdry ordered an inquiry over the allotment of houses in the CAA Colony despite a ban imposed on the allotment after August 19, 2011.
The CCA DG had called a high level meeting on Friday after the news of irregularities in the house allotment in CAA Colony was published in Pakistan Today. The meeting was attended by CAA Deputy Director General Air Vice Marshal (retd) Junaid Ahmed Siddiqui, Chief Human Resources Alqurah Atiq, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer Nadir Shafi Dar and the airport manager.
Sources present during the meeting told that airport manager in his report informed the authorities that more than 250 houses have been allotted to outsiders in the CAA Colony. Later, airport manager was directed to furnish its report about outsiders’ house cancellation. It was also said that a report be compiled and presented to the office of DG CAA about unauthorised personnel who are living in the colony against occupants grade and cadre.
