NBP in collaboration with People’s Doctor’s forum is organising flood medical relief camps in different flood affected areas of Sindh. The free medical relief camps are initially scheduled for ten days. This includes three days in Kario Ganhwar District Badin; one day in Matli District Badin; two days in Drigri District Mirpur Khas, one day in Jaati Chwok district Thatta and three days in Tando Muhamamd Khan District. Specialists and consultant doctors of skin, gynea, eye, neuro and other specialists will be attending the patients. Flood affectees will be given free medicines, treatment and consultation.
From National Bank of Pakistan, Dr Asif A. Brohi, SEVP/Group Chief, Commercial & Retail Banking and other Senior Executives will also be visiting the camps along with Dr. Karim Khawaja, President PDFS will accompany. In the recent past NBP has taken many initiatives to provide better quality social facilities in the form of medical and educational solutions to far flung areas of the country.
Some of the areas which have been covered by organizing medical and eye camps include Charseda, Nowshera, Pabbi, Ibrahim Hyderi, Mithara Bangla, Bhawalpur, Ada Kamal, Dewan Shab Villages, District Burewal, Gaddani. During last floods NBP also organized free medical camps in Razzakabad, Pipri and Gizri Karachi. NBP fully recognizes its corporate social responsibility role in the society and would continue to support initiatives meant for infrastructure uplift and welfare of people the way it did during floods to provide relief and rehabilitate flood affected areas.
