Garments’ shops in Anarkali Market here have been burnt to ashes after a horrific blaze, erupted due to short-circuit, engulfed the area.
According to details, incident of fire eruption took place after Sehar in a cloth market, following which, firefighter teams converged to the site and kicked off fire-extinguishing services.
However, the process took a long time period owing to congested area but after an hour of dousing efforts, the raging flames was brought under control.
Rescue officials told that fire broke out because of short-circuit, adding that all kinds of cloths had been burnt to ashes before the blaze was doused.
