An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) was assaulted by four people including a woman when police, along with a claimant, went to raid their house on Thursday.
According to details, police went to raid Kashaan’s house in the Shahid Town Factory area on a complaint. When the police and the claimant reached the site, Kashaan started assaulting the claimant again. As ASI Dilshad tried to stop the assault, he was badly beaten up by Kashaan’s mother, father, brother and Kashaan himself. A brawl erupted after which the locals called Rescue 15 to resolve the matter.
