Football team’s camp training from tomorrow

The camp training of the Pakistan’s UK-bound football team will get underway at the Punjab Football Stadium from Saturday. According to an official of the Pakistan Football Federation, Pakistan and India will this summer lock horns on the football pitch for the first time in the UK. Billed as the “Clash of the Titans”, the Asian sub-continent’s most powerful sides will meet on September 3 at Derby Pride Park and on September 9 in Glasgow, Scotland. It is expected that these matches be watched by a large community of Pakistanis living in England.
The squad of the training session is: Muhammad Umer, Jahangir (all goalkeepers), Faisal Iqbal, Haji Muhammad, Aalamgir Khan, Manzoor Ahmed, Ahsan-ul-Allah (defenders), Kaleemullah, Mahmood Khan, Syed Arif Hussain, Muhammad Adil, Irfan Khan, (midfielders), Husnain Abbas, Muhammad Ikram, Muhammad Rizwan Asif, Saddam Hussain, Rehan Munir, Hassan Bashir, (Strikers), U.F. Tariq Lutfi (Coach), Syed Nasir Ismail (Assistant Coach), Gohar Zaman (Assistant Coach), Muhammad Aslam Khan (Goal Keeper Coach). Adnan Farooq Ahmed, Atif Bashir Qureshi (midfielders), Shabir Khan (defender) and Yousuf Ijaz Butt (Goalkeeper) foreign based players will join team in England.
