Sindh govt to decide army’s deployment in Karachi: PM

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Thursday that the government would complete its tenure and the elections would be held on time.
While visiting a utility store, the PM said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were trying their best to restore peace in Karachi.
Answering a question, he said that Nawaz Sharif’s demand of elections was an old demand and no party was supporting him.
Talking about the recent situation in Karachi, Gilani said that the Sindh government would decide about deployment of army in Karachi.
Gilani also talked with people and listened to their reservations regarding high prices of routine item in the utility store and the performance of the workers.
