Post-monsoon heat strikes

As the monsoon spell wanes, the temperature in the provincial metropolis has started to rise. The maximum temperature recorded in Lahore on Wednesday was 35 Degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature recorded during the monsoon had been 30 Degrees Celsius. According to the Met office there is a chance of rain on Thursday (today) but overall the sky would remain partly cloudy.
The Met office said that the weather would remain cloudy with isolated rain and thunderstorms during the next few days in the city. Eighty eight percent of humidity was recorded in Lahore on Wednesday morning which dropped to 56 percent in the evening.
