The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Thursday issued strict warning to several TV channels, including Royal TV, Play TV, OYE TV, Oxygen TV and Indus Music, for flouting their content provisions. The authority has given a final deadline of 30 days to these channels to correct their content as per mandate of their respective licences, otherwise action will be taken against the violators, which may lead to revocation of their licenses.
