Trains continued to get delayed on Wednesday also, with almost all the trains reaching the Lahore Railway Station three to 9 hours late from the scheduled time. “Until new locomotives are not provided, the delays will continue,” sources inside PR told Pakistan Today.
Per details, Karachi Express’ schedule time was 3:45pm but it arrived at 8:45 pm(5 hours late), Tezgam Express was expected at 3:15 am but it reached at 9:00am (almost 6 hours late), Allama Iqbal Express scheduled time of arrival was 11:15 am but with more than 10 hours delay it arrived at 10:35 pm, while Queeta Express’ arrival time was 8:40 am but it arrived at 4:20 pm. (almost 7 hours delay), Tez Gam’s time was was 5:00pm but it reached Lahore at 9:00 pm( 4 hours late), Jaffer Express arrival time was 5:00 pm but it was also late and was expected to reach at 12:00 am (7 hours late), Badr Express was scheduled to reach at 1:30am but arrived at 7:05am ( over 6 hours late).
Similarly Farid Express, Shah Shams Express, Khyber Mail and Faisal Express were 2 to 6 hours late from their scheduled time.
