Prime Minister (PM) Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has issued directives to take action indiscriminately against the miscreants in Sindh.
The decision for initiating action against the miscreants was taken during the meeting between PM and Governor Sindh Ishratul Ebad here Thursday.
Sources told Governor Sindh apprised the PM of the prevailing situation of Sindh with particular reference to target killing and firing in Karachi. PM contacted Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah by telephone and directed him to evolve action plan against criminals besides convening high level meeting of Sindh administration immediately.
It was decided in the meeting that the culprits would be brought to justice and stern action would be initiated against those who would show leniency in dealing with conspirators..
Sources told that PM said that normalcy would be brought into Karachi at every cost and stern action would be taken against the elements found involved in challenging writ of government. Protecting life and property of citizens was responsibility of the government, he stressed. Those involved in deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi would be dealt with iron hands, he warned.
PM said he was saddened over killing of innocent citizens in Karachi during the last few days.
Formula on rejoining federal and provincial governments by MQM was also discussed and it was agreed that both MQM and PPP would continue talks on national issues so that peace is maintained in Karachi.
Well, good enough. I wonder if our worthy prime minister will allow an INDISCRIMINATE investigation into NICL scam, too.

I can see that there is a Prime Minister in Pakistan as well. It is good of him he took ‘notice’ of hellish situation in Karachi. Must it be 38 murders before the chief excutive come to action. Again will there be an ‘indiscriminate’ action? I wish it was. But I thInk it would be a wishful thinking. Apparently, Rehman Baba has already been dispatched to unfortunate city of Karachi. He will fire some indiscriminate statements, a usual jargon of self delusional words. Eshrat Ibad will be providing all the intelligence information to 90 because his loyalties lie not with the republic but to the Edgware Road in London which he already visited and got all the instructions from his Grand Guru Altaf Hussain.
So rest assured the words of th PM of th country will fall on deaf ears and mayhem will continue. Zardari treats his leaders on national as well as provincial level as his subjects who have no freedom to express their opinion on any issue particularly abbot Sindh which Zardari treats it like his kingdom. I am sure he will shower innumerable favours to MQM as if there are no other nationalities in Sindh. He will order release of all thugs of MQM who have been recently arrested.
